Over 830,000 veterans call Virginia home. They’ve served in every conflict since World War II, represent all branches of the military, and come from all walks of life. Our veterans served us; now it’s our turn to serve them.
The Virginia Veterans Services Foundation accepts donations to support critical programs and services for Virginia's veterans and their families that are not covered by state or federal funds.
The Foundation is an independent state agency that receives contributions to support the Virginia Department of Veterans Services’ programs and services.
Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law under Internal Revenue Code Section 170 (c) and Code of Virginia Section 2.2.2719. Check with your tax consultant for more information.
Donations cannot revert to the Commonwealth’s General Fund. The Veterans Services Foundation is subject to annual audits by the Commonwealth Auditor of Public Accounts.
