On 9/11/2001, Ross Berkoff called home in a panic. His dad, Bill Czirjak, often had morning meetings at the World Trade Center. The relief he felt hearing that his dad was still in his Port Authority office in Weehawken, NJ, is something he’ll never forget. In 2020, Berkoff’s father lost his battle with an aggressive cancer caused by the toxic dust he inhaled while helping at Ground Zero. Join author and historian, Ross Berkoff, as he recalls his father’s quiet courage, and memories of the event that changed our nation on September 11, 2001.
