Community Partners of the Eastern Shore's Committee Meeting - Veterans Support Committee will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the American Legion, Bayside Road, Cheriton VA at 12:00pm. This meeting will follow the already scheduled DVS visit to the Legion that morning. Once a quarter this committee will meet at the American Legion in Parksley at 7:00pm on the 2nd Tuesday on the following dates only - December 10th, March 11th, and June 10th. Please share this information with any veteran you feel could benefit from being a part of this committee.
Below is the purpose of this committee:
- Coordinates the efforts of key community stakeholders in addressing local veteran needs and access to resources.
- Builds capacity within our community to address the needs of local veterans.
- Builds continuing partnerships with resources to address barriers to veteran specific services.
- Provides support and extended resources to local veterans.
- Coordinates local veteran specific activities with other CPES partners
