The Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences M. Foscue Brock Institute for Community & Global Health at Old Dominion University is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Joint Mental Health Summit, entitled “Mental Health Impacts of Community Violence”.

Summit Objectives:

• Describe national, state, regional, and local data on community violence and its impacts on mental health wellness.
• Discuss the multifaceted effects of community violence on individuals' mental health, with a focus on at-risk populations.
• Identify strategies, frameworks, and resources to address the mental health consequences of community violence. Compile actionable solutions to reduce the impact of community violence on mental well-being.
