Featured Book: “Christmas from Heaven: The True Story of the Berlin Candy Bomber” by Tom Brokaw

Craft Activity: Make a variety of holiday decorations and see the Blue Star Families of Richmond’s “Hero Tree” on display in the Robins Lobby. Take a photo in front of the tree with your family.

* On Saturday, meet Ember the certified K-9 Caring Angel Therapy Dog.

 

NEW THIS FALL!  Our "Storytime at the Memorial" will take place one weekday AND one Saturday per month.  Join us this Fall at the Virginia War Memorial for educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities. Families welcome, suggested age range is for kids 4 to 10 years old.  Every month is a new theme and book! 

Preregistration is not required to attend and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.    

This event, as well as admittance to the Memorial and parking, is FREE.
