Storytime at the Memorial - Black History Month with special guests Howard and Richard Baugh of the Howard Baugh Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.

Join us for Storytime at the Memorial at the Virginia War Memorial, for FREE educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities. Families are welcome, with the suggested age range for kids 4 to 10 years old.  Every month is a new theme and book! 

Preregistration is not required to attend and participate. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.    

Featured book: “Wind Flyers” by Angela Johnson.  Children will assemble and decorate toy airplanes, design and press Storytime buttons, Valentine’s Day coloring sheets and more.  Special guests Howard & Richard Baugh of the Howard Baugh Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.
