Join us for Storytime at the Memorial at the Virginia War Memorial, for FREE educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities. Families are welcome, with the suggested age range for kids 4 to 10 years old.  Every month is a new theme and book! 

Preregistration is not required to attend and participate. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Featured Book: “Stubby: A True Story of Friendship” by Michael Foreman. Children will craft police dogs with foam clay, design and press Storytime buttons, military K9 coloring sheets and more.

NOTE: The Virginia War Memorial’s FREE .9K9 Memorial Walk is taking place 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and there will be K9s on-site during this time.
