Storytime at the Memorial - Month of the Military Child with special guests from the Daughters of the American Revolution - William Byrd Chapter.

Join us for Storytime at the Memorial at the Virginia War Memorial, for FREE educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities. Families are welcome, with the suggested age range for kids 4 to 10 years old.  Every month is a new theme and book! 

Preregistration is not required to attend and participate. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Featured Book: “America’s Flag Story” by Karen S. Robbins.  Children will make American Flag streamers, design and press Storytime buttons, patriotic coloring sheets.

First 25 children receive a copy of the America’s Flag Story courtesy of  DAR-William Byrd Chapter.
