To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Virginia War Memorial’s dedication, Director of Education Jim Triesler will interview educator and historian Phil Bigler, recent author of “Virginia War Memorial: 75 Years, A Living Tribute to Their Sacrifice”. Bigler will discuss the vision and desire that forged the majestic 1956 Shrine of Memory, and why the Memorial remains beloved and relevant today.
