DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>December Theme:</strong> Holiday Stories During War Time</p><p><strong>Featured Book: </strong>“Christmas from Heaven: The True Story of the Berlin Candy Bomber” by Tom Brokaw</p><p><strong>Craft Activity:</strong> Make a variety of holiday decorations and see the Blue Star Families of Richmond’s “Hero Tree” on display in the Robins Lobby. Take a photo in front of the tree with your family.</p><p>* On Saturday, meet Ember the certified K-9 Caring Angel Therapy Dog.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>NEW THIS FALL!&nbsp; Our "Storytime at the Memorial" will take place one weekday AND one Saturday per month.&nbsp; Join us this Fall at the Virginia War Memorial for educator-led readings of children’s history books and craft activities.
