DESCRIPTION:<p>The Virginia War Memorial is proud to present “<i>Heroes Among Us: Veterans Voices with Greg McQuade”</i> on Thursday evening, February 12 from 7-9 p.m.</p><p>This special program will feature Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award winning WTVR-TV CBS6 reporter/anchor Greg McQuade who will give a retrospective look at many of the “Heroes Among Us” video segments about Virginia military veterans and active military members he has produced and have been shown on television over the past twenty-five years.</p><p>A native of Massachusetts and broadcast journalism graduate of Northeastern University, Greg McQuade moved south to Richmond and joined the WTVR-TV news staff as a political and military reporter in October 2020. Also a history buff, he produces a weekly segment called <i>“Heroes Among Us,”</i> about inspiring people – many of whom are and have been military veterans.
