The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) has 38 offices across the Commonwealth to serve service members, veterans, and their families. DVS also maintains three veterans cemeteries, four veteran skilled nursing facilities (care centers), and the Virginia War Memorial.

Hours

Appointment availability is temporarily limited. We are working diligently to increase capacity and appreciate your patience.   

The Fredericksburg Office (Spotsylvania Ave) operating hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. Veterans will be seen from 8:30 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. by appointment only.

Effective April 1, 2026, the Fredericksburg Benefits office will have walk-in hours from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. every Wednesday.

 
Our office will be closed to the public on the last business day of the month.
