Virginia War Memorial Invites Public To Artifacts Roadshow-Summer Edition

WHAT:

  • Artifacts Roadshow-Summer Edition
  • 10th edition of popular event now held twice yearly (January and June)
  • Public invited to bring in military-related memorabilia from any era for expert review and preservation tips
  • No charge for individual reviews
  • No monetary values or appraisals given. Dealers prohibited.
  • Weapons, small arms and ordinance items will be checked for safety prior to review by representatives of Green Top Hunting & Fishing

  • 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EDT
  • Galanti Education Center Open 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • Freedom Hall, Paul and Phyllis Galanti Education Center
  • Virginia War Memorial, 621 South Belvidere Street, Richmond, VA 23220
  • Free admission. Free parking.

WHO:

  • Artifacts will be reviewed by Virginia War Memorial Curator Jesse Smith and noted military collectable experts Robert House and Warren Shindle from Virginia Beach.
