Marine Corps Base Quantico recently implemented the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), a Physical Access Control System. Individuals who do not have a DOD issued ID card in their possession can no longer access entry to Marine Corps Base Quantico with just a driver’s license or other state issued ID card. All veterans who do not have an issued DOD ID card must report to the Quantico vehicle inspection building on the West side of the base to go through the BDIDS process prior to accessing the base and DVS office.
